We have a small number of dairy (Jersey and/or Guernsey) calves that we raise each year to maturity and have them available for your freezer. The calves are raised with their moms for the first 4-6 months of their life, receiving plenty of nourishing milk from them. When weaned, they are transferred to a strictly grass based diet and receive no grain, antibiotics, or growth hormones of any sort. They remain on pasture till they are ready for processing.
Being that these guys are not your standard beef bred, they do not produce quite as much meat. For this reason, we do not offer them for sale by the quarter, but just halves and whole. Since we have such a low number available, they are not listed for sale on the website. Please contact us if you are interested in reserving a whole or a half for the future.
We do also partner with a couple other ranchers in order to offer beef by the whole, half, or quarter. We also have ground beef available for purchase at anytime.
